I am trying to get a few short stories published in preparation for when I shop a novel I am currently writing. I have found search engines that list all the publications that are out there, but I have no clue which ones are reputable. I have written fantasy stories, realistic horror stories and “post-modernesque” stories about relationships. Any suggestions?
*** I understand the publication process. I am simply looking for a few specific names that would be recognizable to a book agent.
